THE easing of lockdown restrictions next week will see the opening of a revamped super salon in Chester by a fast-growing beauty business.

Doll Beauty started their journey in 2016, based at a small studio in Hoole.

Now, fast forward five years and one global pandemic, they are opening their doors of the salon to clients for the first time after a turbulent 12 months for the beauty industry.

Doll Beauty co-owner Danielle Gregory said: “When the doors closed – we weren’t sure when they’d be open.”

The brand, co-owned by Samantha Allen and Chester-born Danielle Gregory, have grown considerably over the last five years, with their products now stocked at retailers such as Boots, Beauty Bay Pretty Little Thing.

The new-look salon, based in Boughton, has undergone huge renovations.

It has almost doubled in size; being able to now welcome more clients, a broader range of treatments and even a brand new bar.

The salon will offer the complete Doll experience from beginning to end and includes treatments such as luxury pedicures, hair services, spray tanning and a range of facial packages ready for post-lockdown pampering.

Samantha and Danielle said: "The last 12 months have been an absolute rollercoaster for the beauty industry. Some of us have lost jobs, businesses and even loved ones.

"To be able to open the brand-new salon will be a huge sigh of relief and hopefully the start of beauty making its comeback.

"I don’t think we’ve really appreciated how important self-care was before the pandemic but now we do. The simple pleasure of having our nails done and interacting with others seemed such a small task but now we know it means so much more.

"The new Doll HQ marks the start of a brand-new era for Doll Beauty and it's safe to say this is just the beginning!"
