THE Royal Air Force Air Cadets are looking forward to the welcome return of physical activities at Ellesmere Port this month.

With the restrictions on youth groups such as the RAF Air Cadets now no longer stopping the holding of training and activities on Squadron outside of virtual online-based events, the Air Cadets in Ellesmere Port are due to return to Squadron.

The Squadron is now open to applications for new members, from all aged 12 (and in Year 8) to 17 who are interested in joining.

For this reason, the Squadron is holding a recruit information evening at 7.30pm on Thursday, April 15, at its Squadron Headquarters at 1074 Ellesmere Port Squadron, Coronation Road, Ellesmere Port (behind Travis Perkins), CH65 9AB.

Cadets at the Squadron have the chance to experience many activities including flying and gliding, adventure training, sports, music, target shooting, leadership, first aid and visits to RAF stations.
