A PUB group with a number of venues in and around Chester have confirmed a number will opening their outside space on April 12.
These will include the Architect and Old Harkers Arms in Chester city centre, the Grosvenor Arms in Aldford and the Morris Dancer in Kelsall.
In a statement on their website Brunning and Price said: "Whilst, sadly, none of our pubs are able to open just at the moment, it’s looking promising we’ll be able to open our outside areas in England, from April 12th.
"As times are extraordinary (to say the least!), we have decided to take bookings for some of our outside tables. "Don’t worry, there will be tables available on a first come first served basis if you do want to pop down for a drink or a bite to eat."
The company also confirmed they will be taking bookings from two households or groups of up to six people from mixed households including children.
The statement added: "Whilst we are obviously all keeping everything crossed for good weather, it’s best to come prepared for every eventuality, so wrap up warm, bring a blanket and perhaps even an umbrella, just in case. If the heavens do open, we’re really sorry but we won’t be able to allow you to shelter inside the pub."
Venues are allowed to open their outside space from April 12 as part of Boris Johnson's road map out of lockdown.
