CHESHIRE West and Chester Council is urging people over the age of 50 to their appointment for a covid-19 vaccination.
As the covid-19 vaccination programme progresses in the borough, people from a number of priority groups are invited to come forward.
The groups currently being offered the covid-19 vaccination in the borough include:
• people aged 50 and over
• people who are a main carer for someone at high risk of coronavirus
• frontline health and social care workers
• people at high risk from coronavirus (clinically extremely vulnerable)
• people with a learning disability
• people who have a condition that puts them at higher risk (clinically vulnerable)
Residents who are eligible can book an appointment at: www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination, where they can choose a time slot and location that suits them.
People who are eligible, but without online access, can call 119 to book a vaccination between 7am and 11pm seven days a week. Vaccination appointments can also be booked on behalf of people they care for if they are unable to do it themselves.
