TWO men were arrested on Saturday night after being found trying to steal number plates in Caerwys.
North Wales Police officers caught the men in a Flintshire field on Saturday night – with one in a rather compromising position.
A spokesman for the North Wales Police Intercept team said: “Some friendly advice from our officers - although North Wales is closed at this time if you do find yourself here... our toilets are open!
“Two males arrested last night after one being #caughtwithhispantsdown in a commercial yard in Caerwys. Unfortunately for him and his mate they were seen trying to unscrew number plates at the same time.
“Two introduced to our staff at Hotel Heddlu for attempt theft and going equipped to steal.”
