FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a fire at a flat in Neston.
One fire crew responded to the incident in Bridge Court, just before 9am on Friday (February 26).
On arrival, firefighters noticed the kitchen was heavily smoke logged due to cooking being left unattended.
A large fan was used to disperse smoke.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said that one man was believed to have suffered from smoke inhalation.
