POLICE have confirmed that a missing woman who was last seen in a "distressed state" has been found 'safe and well'.
Officers had been concerned for the welfare of the female, believed to have been in her mid-50s.
At 7.30am this morning, a dog walker was approached by the woman in a distressed state in the Flint Meadow area of Neston.
She would not stay and walked off while the dog walker called the police.
Following a search, police confirmed that the woman had been found 'safe and well'.
