A MAN from Ellesmere Port has been charged following a robbery at a convenience store in the town.
Kaya Colakoglu was arrested at his home in Lime Street at around 2pm on Sunday, January 3.
The 29-year-old has subsequently been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The charges relate to an incident at a convenience store on Westminster Road. It occurred at around 8.30pm on Saturday, January 2.
Colakoglu appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 4, via a video link.
He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, February 1.
