AROUND 350 jobs are being created as part of a four-year project to roll-out ultrafast broadband services to homes and businesses in Chester, Blackpool and Preston.

New full fibre connections will be installed by Telent from early next year on behalf of CityFibre – the UK’s third national digital infrastructure platform.

It forms part of a wider £4 billion Gigabit City Investment Programme which aims to reach up to eight million premises nationwide.
