CREWS were called out to a kitchen fire at a house in Chester.
Firefighters attended the incident on Phillip Street shortly after 7.30pm yesterday (November 29).
Two fire engines – one from Chester and another from Powey Lane – were sent to the scene.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters attended to reports of a small fire at a property on Phillip Street.
"The fire was located in the kitchen and involved the grill attached to the oven.
"Crews used water to put out the flames and then dampened down the area.
"The temperature was checked using the thermal imaging camera."
