A SCHOOL in Chester has raised a record-breaking amount for Children in Need.
Belgrave Primary School smashed its previous highest by raising an impressive £1,090.85.
Staff and children attended school in their pyjamas and money was raised by holding three cake sales at play times and sending in a Pudsey coin fill.
Youngsters also sold hair braids and bracelets, and organised a cake raffle.
The school said it was "overwhelmed and extremely grateful for the generosity and support from the children and their families" especially at such a difficult time currently.
