END-TO-END matches dominate this day - November 2 - in Wrexham's proud history.

The Reds have been involved in four 3-2 scorelines over the years - winning two and losing two.

The wins came in 1996 when Karl Connolly, Steve Morris and Gareth Owen scored at home against Chesterfield and in 1982 when two Steve Buxton goals and one from Liverpool loanee Robbie Savage saw off Southend.

They were on the wrong end, though, in 2013 with Macclesfield running out winners despite goals from Joe Anyinsah and Brett Ormerod at Moss Rose.

It was the same at Spotland in 1985 when Steve Charles penalty and an own goal were all Dixie McNeil's Reds had to show for their efforts against Rochdale.

Brian Flynn's Reds were battered 5-0 at Burnley, for whom Glen Little scored in 1999 while the Reds have enjoyed four 1-0 wins on this day, Bromley last year, Southend (2002), Barnet (1991) and Carlisle (1957)

The scorers were Luke Young, Steve Thomas, Steve Watkin and Penycae-born Brian Griffiths.
