FIREFIGHTERS were called to free two people from their car after it had been involved in a collision on the outskirts of Chester in the early hours of Thursday, October 29.
The incident was reported to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service at 2.20am.
Two fire engines from Powey Lane and Chester were dispatched to the scene on Coney Croft, Mollington.
On arrival at the scene the crews found a collision involving a saloon car where two people were medically trapped, and were unable to get out of the vehicle.
Firefighters used electronic cutting equipment to release the casualties, they were then passed to the care of paramedics.
Crews were at the scene for around one hour.
