A giant poppy on Harpers Road in Longbarn
DOZENS of lampposts on an estate have been adorned with giant poppies.
Around 40 poppies have been affixed to lampposts around the Longbarn area to commemorate Remembrance Day.
The display has been organised by the Longbarn Residents’ Association, with each poppy along Harpers Road being sponsored by a different organisation.
Approximately £700 has been raised for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal as a result.
