WREXHAM have not had the start to the season they were looking for.

Although Dean Keates' side beat Boreham Wood 2-1 on the opening day of the National League campaign, the Reds have since lost three of their last four matches.

The last two defeats came against Maidenhead and Wealdstone, sides who went into the game sitting bottom of the table.

A superb 1-0 victory at Yeovil preceded those back-to-back reversals but six points from a possible 15 leaves Wrexham in 11th position.

Supporters were asked: "What needs to change and where can the Reds improve", and here are their replies.

ALAN JONES: "New tactics two banks of four away from home against bottom of league wasn’t good and to have players who try an look interested instead of just going through the motions Saturday just wasn’t acceptable in a Wrexham shirt."

OWAIN: "Playing players in their proper positions would be a start. We had possibly our most talented footballer in Jordan Davies sitting on the bench last game, after being played out of position previously. Round pegs in round holes please Keates."

STUART BUXTON: "It feels like a pointless debate to be honest because the management team we have in place has a very specific way of approaching games and won't change."

MATTY: "Bit early to view them as "bottom of the table" teams, Wealdstone are now up to 9th. Typical Wrexham naivety, believing they had a divine right to win the games and being found out. Despite 13 years in Non League, we still don't show respect for teams. Change in culture needed."

TEZ RED: "A big injection of cash from across the pond."

NIGEL DEE: "I don’t have the answers because on paper he has assembled a strong squad. Tactics? Loved Dean as a player but does he have the managerial nouse?"

JONA DEVITT: "Tactical naivety still. How after all this time can they not see we need huge physicality on the middle. We were best when we had Walker running the middle and Beavon jumping into and all over every centre half we came up against.

DICKIE: "What needs to change? The management."

MATT: "The manager and coaching staff for a start."

RUSSELL: "New manager."

OZ: "Change the coaching set up. It’s been tried tested and failed before. The whole lot need to go.!!!"

JAMES THOMAS: "Keates tactics are all wrong!! He’s puts the team out to get a draw every time then nick a goal to win. Why we are so defensive? No plan B!!! All of them need to go it’s that simple!"

JOSH JONES: "Change the manager."

GARRY DAVIES: "Get rid of Keates, Davies and Darlington immediately. We’ve won 2 games despite having them in charge not because of them. Clueless and inept."

OWEN THORNLEY: "Defending set pieces and crosses is a MUST, 6 out of the 7 goals conceded so far have been from crosses needs to change quickly."

GARY JONES: "Management and coaching team."
