CONNAH'S QUAY NOMADS slipped to a 1-0 defeat against The New Saints in their Cymru Premier top of the table clash at Park Hall.
Andy Morrison's table topping Nomads went into the game on the back of sixth successive wins since the opening draw with Bala Town.
But that run was ended by Saints who have now clinched victory in all seven of their fixtures, scoring 26 goals without reply.
Louis Robles scored the winner in the 41st minute as Saints, looking to wrestle the league title back off Nomads, took over as leaders.
They hold a two point advantage at the summit and also have a game in hand on their rivals.
