IT was a day of firsts for Wrexham against Yeovil.

The Reds triumphed 1-0 at Huish Park, registering a first clean sheet and first away victory of the 2020-21 National League campaign.

It was a fourth ever meeting against the Glovers and Dean Keates' side beat their opponents for the first time to make it two wins from three outings this season.

Wrexham dominated the first half and should have been more than 1-0 up at the break, Kwame Thomas breaking the deadlock in the 10th minute to notch his first goal for the Reds.

Yeovil came more into the game in the second half and put pressure on Wrexham who still had chances to kill the game off.

The second goal never arrived but Wrexham held on for victory.
