TWO puppies stolen during a burglary in Cheshire in the early hours of Tuesday 29 September have been located.
The pair were found in the Widnes area yesterday evening, Tuesday, September 29.
No arrests have been made and enquiries in relation to the people responsible remain ongoing.
Detective Constable Ciara Murphy, of Runcorn Local Policing Unit, said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who shared the social media appeals and helped to locate the puppies.
“While the dogs have been located, the investigation to trace the people responsible remains ongoing.
“As part of our ongoing enquiries we want to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Whitchurch Way area of Runcorn overnight or believes they have CCTV footage which could be relevant to our investigation.
“The same goes for anyone who thinks they may know the identities of the burglars.”
