POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a suspected arson attack in Ellesmere Port late on Thursday (September 24).
Firefighters were called following reports of a fire in the open in Warkworth Court at 10.24pm.
One fire engine attended from Ellesmere Port and on arrival, the crew found two wheelie bins well alight.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
It is believed that this fire had been started deliberately. Anyone with information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 813006.
