FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a property in Ellesmere Port after smoke was seen coming from a washing machine.
A fire crew attended the incident just after 12.20pm today (Tuesday, September 22) on Stanley Road.
On arrival the crew discovered that the washing machine had overheated.
Firefighters moved the washing machine to a safe place outside.
Once they were satisfied that the premises was safe they left the address.
Firefighters were in attendance for more than half-an-hour.
