FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a late night bonfire in a village near Chester.
One crew from Powey Lane attended the blaze at 10pm last night (Thursday, September 17) on Parkgate Road, Mollington.
On arrival firefighters discovered that it was an unattended bonfire on disused land.
The fire measured about three square metres.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for about half-an-hour.
