A YOUNG cyclist was airlifted to hospital following a hit and run collision in Cheshire.
The18-year-old man was riding along Milton Road toward Riverside College in Widnes, sometime between 3.30pm and 4pm yesterday (Thursday, September 17), when a grey Ford Kuga collided with him.
The driver failed to stop and turned left into Cameron Road.
The teenager was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
DC Tina Jackson said: “We would urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that will help us identify the driver to contact us. If you were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage you can submit it on our website. Please make sure you reference IML 806505.”
