FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a deliberate fire in the open in Ellesmere Port.
At about 6.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, September 16) a fire crew received a report of the blaze in Viva Way.
On arrival the crew discovered that the fire involved a small amount of rubbish on wasteland.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with water and were in attendance for about 40 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
