A MAN has been charged with possessing a bladed weapon following an incident in Ellesmere Port town centre last week.
Connor Cawkwellhall, 23, of Sutton Way, Ellesmere Port, is due to appear in court later this month.
He was arrested after officers had been called to Whitby Road at 12.20pm on September 10 following concerns being raised for the welfare of a male.
No-one else was involved in the incident.
A Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Connor Cawkwellhall, of Sutton Way, Ellesmere Port, has been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
"The 23-year-old has been released on unconditional bail and is set to appear at West Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on 28/9/20."
