POLICE are investigating after it said a group of teenagers caused a fire at the Upton Pavilion in Wealstone Lane, Chester.
Firefighters from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service had to be called out to the incident at 9.24pm on Tuesday, September 1.
On arrival the crew found a small quantity of rubbish which was well alight.
The crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were detained for around 25 minutes.
Upton police on social media said 'a group of teens' had started the fire and added: "We are now investigating this as there is CCTV of the incident. If you have any information please get in touch."
