A NORTHWICH café has been revealed as one of Trip Advisor’s top eateries not just in the town, but in the world.
Abda’s café, on Crown Street, has been awarded Travellers’ Choice status in recognition of its excellent customer service and reflecting the positive reviews and ratings it has received.
The awards see the consumer website rank hospitality businesses according to customer reviews and winners were determined by looking at visitor opinions and popularity over the past year.
Owner Abda Obeid-Findley said: “We were totally shocked when we found out, we had no idea that we were even in the running – I was lost for words.
“Because it is based on customer reviews this means so much to us. Our customers are at the very heart our business and this just reiterates how important they are and hopefully shows that we’re getting it right.”
A statement from the travel website said: “Each year we comb through reviews, ratings and saves from travellers everywhere and use that info to award the very best.
“You’re part of an exclusive group and we want to help you celebrate and promote this major accomplishment.”
Abda added: “I’m really thrilled we’ve been recognised in this way, and huge part of this is also down to our wonderful, hardworking and dedicated staff – they really are amazing.”
The café, which has recently reopened after lockdown restrictions, has enjoyed welcoming customers back to its premises and as well as offering an ever-changing menu, has also launched a retail line featuring culinary favourites from homemade houmous and a range of gluten-free and vegan celebration cake, to freshly ground coffee beans.
Abda said: “We’ve been so happy to welcome customers back and are so grateful for their support, especially at this transitionary time. We’ve still got an ever-changing menu and are growing our retail offering so you don’t have to just sit in to enjoy our products, you can enjoy them at home too.
The café’s social media platforms are regularly updated with new offers and ranges. To find out more follow Abda Ltd on Facebook and Instagram.
