POLICE are currently dealing with an incident in Cheshire where a man sustained serious injuries.
At about 1.20pm today (Wednesday, August 12) officers were called to an address on the Knoll, in Runcorn.
During the incident a man sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital.
Officers are currently establishing the full circumstances surrounding the incident and patrols have been increased in the area to provide reassurance.
This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no risk to the community.
