FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire involving a flatbed truck in Chester.
On arrival the crew discovered that it was a small fire caused by a fuel spillage shortly after 1.20pm today (Monday, August 10) in Kelvin Grove.
There was no sign of a leakage from the wagon's fuel tank.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and then monitored temperatures with a thermal imaging camera.
Once firefighters were satisfied that the scene was safe they departed.
They were in attendance for more than half-an-hour.
