AWARD-WINNING Cheshire family-friendly attraction The Ice Cream Farm is reopening its doors next week.

The Ice Cream Farm in Tattenhall, near Chester, will welcome back visitors from Monday, July 13 with a "lower daily capacity".

The popular attraction, which has been operating a drive-through service during its temporary closure following the coronavirus outbreak, has put numerous safety measures in place.

They include both staff and visitors, upon entry, having their temperatures checked.

The Ice Cream Farm will only be accepting card payments and visitors must book online.

The attraction posted on Facebook this afternoon: "Exciting Ice Cream Farm news! We have been working hard to put plans in place to ensure as many people as possible can safely visit The Ice Cream Farm this summer.

"From Monday 13th July we will be reopening from 9.30am until 5.30pm. Please note we've made some changes to help keep everyone safe.

"Website bookings will be live later this week so please keep checking back."
