A LUXURY country hotel on the outskirts of Chester has confirmed it will reopen for guests from Monday, July 6.

The award-winning Carden Park temporarily closed its doors 14 weeks ago due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The hotel is now in a position to begin operating again after putting in place extensive measures to keep guests and staff safe.

The following facilities will be available from Monday:

• Overnight accommodation including all dinner, bed and breakfast packages

• Most dining and bar areas for table service only including the luxury Redmond's Restaurant and Morgan's Bar

• All golf facilities including both courses, the clubhouse bar, pro-shop and driving range

• A number of outdoor facilities such as shooting, archery, mountain bikes and Segway riding

At the present time there will be no spa and leisure club access.

Carden Park said it is awaiting Government guidance for when it can open its new five-star 'The Spa at Carden' and refurbished £500,000 leisure club, but expects it to be during the summer months.

A new element to the hotel's cleaning regime will see the introduction of a unique fogging machine, which the hotel claims is highly effective against coronavirus and will be used daily as it scientifically proven to provide long-lasting sanitisation.
