CHESTER'S Storyhouse wants to use a city centre car park as the location for a drive-in cinema.
A premises license application for the Linenhall Street car park has been submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
Storyhouse wants to use the car park for the 'exhibition of films' and 'performance of recorded music' over a seven-week period.
If the license is granted it would run from July 26 to September 13.
It would allow for films to be shown Monday to Sunday from 6pm until midnight, and the performance of recorded music from 6pm until 11.30pm.
Public consultation over the proposal will run until July 21.
