NO additional coronavirus deaths have been recorded by any of the Cheshire hospital trusts during the latest 24-hour reporting period.
NHS England data released this afternoon (June 29) shows that, as of 5pm yesterday, the county's hospital death toll remained at 683.
The Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (210) has registered the most deaths of patients testing positive for the virus, followed by the Countess of Chester Hospital Trust (209), East Cheshire NHS Trust (135) and Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (131).
Across England, a further 19 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 28,672.
Patients were aged between 60 and 96 years-old. All patients had known underlying health conditions.
