WALES can start preparing for their rescheduled Euro 2020 campaign after the fixture list was announced.

Ryan Giggs' Welsh outfit will now face Switzerland in Baku on June 12, 2021, before they tackle Turkey in the same city on June 16 in a competition postponed 12 months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Wales, who reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016, will then do battle with Italy in Rome on June 20, with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin confirming that all 12 original host cities for the tournament will stage matches next summer.

England will open their campaign against Croatia on June 13 at Wembley, which will host all of Gareth Southgate's side's group fixtures.

The Three Lions' second Group D fixture, against a play-off winning team to be determined, will follow on June 18, with the final group game against the Czech Republic on June 22.

Wembley is due to host the semi-finals and final of the tournament, which will begin on June 11 when Turkey face Italy.

Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are all hoping to reach the tournament via the qualifying play-offs, which are now due to be played in October and November.
