A MAN has pleaded not guilty to stabbing a 34-year-old male in Ellesmere Port.
Anthony Gee, 45, of Raby Court, Ellesmere Port, appeared before Judge Patrick Thompson at Chester Crown Court via videolink today (June 11).
He pleaded not guilty to three charges – wounding with intent, unlawful wounding and possession of a knife – and a trial will now take place in the week commencing October 26.
The charges relate to an incident at 11.56pm on Wednesday, May 13, when a 34-year-old man was seriously injured at the junction of Cambridge Road and Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port.
He was airlifted to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool.
Gee, who was represented by Simon Mills, was remanded in custody. Derek Jones represented the Crown Prosecution Service.
