A COSTA Coffee branch in Ellesmere Port has confirmed that it has reopened for drive-through orders.

The store on Kinsey Road, near Cheshire Oaks, will be serving customers via its drive-through lane from 7am until 6pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 9am until 5pm on Sundays.

The branch says its focus is 'to bring coffee and snacks to the wonderful NHS and keyworkers in and around the Ellesmere Port area'.

It adds that the store is open to the public but they are not encouraging people to leave their homes 'unless it is for essential travel'.

In a post on Facebook, the branch provided the following information:

- We are unable to serve you unless you are in a car/van (no pedestrians, cyclists, or bikers).

- Full drinks range available (minus cold brew).

- Temporarily limited food menu.

- We are only accepting contactless card payments.

- We are unable to accept Costa Club Cards for the time being, but please ask for your receipt to claim them when normality resumes.

It adds: "As you will know, the store is always busy! We will do our best to serve you all to the usual standard, but following social distancing procedures does make us a little slower than usual.

"Our team are so excited to be getting back to the coffee machines and we can’t wait to see you all soon!"
