A HOUSE builder, with a development in Cheshire, has been awarded five stars by buyers in an independent survey.

It is the eighth time in nine years that Miller Homes, behind Turnstone Grange in Congleton, has achieved five stars in the Home Builders Federation national new home customer satisfaction survey.

The scheme was launched more than 15 years ago to provide a guide for homebuyers in making purchasing decisions and to encourage outstanding levels of service within the industry.

Ian Smith, regional managing director of Miller Homes in the North West, said: “We are committed to providing a high level of customer service and take tremendous pride in delivering the best possible experience for our home buyers.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our team for their continued dedication to providing exceptional customer care, with their hard work recognised once again with a five star rating in the HBF’s customer satisfaction survey.”

Only homebuilders scoring more than 90 per cent can achieve a five star rating. This year, Miller Homes achieved 93 per cent in the survey.

HBF’s executive chairman, Stewart Baseley, said: “This year’s results show the industry has continued to deliver even higher levels of customer service.

“Consistently delivering new homes, probably the biggest and most emotional investment any individual will make, in a way that satisfies their customers is a huge challenge for a business.

“Achieving a five star rating, meaning that more than nine out of 10 customers are happy with the service provided, is a significant achievement that deserves to be recognised.”

Miller Homes has developments across the North West, including Beacon Park in Catterall and Blackfield Green in Warton.
