Woman drove for 10k on M6 in outside lane because 'left one is slow lane'
A DRIVER was found lane hogging in the outside lane of the M6 in Cheshire for 10km on Tuesday night.
Traffic police said the woman was travelling north and preventing others drivers from overtaking.
She was pulled over by police.
She told officers she thought this was the right lane to use because 'the one on the left is the slow lane'.
Later in the evening a driver was fined £300 for a long list of offences on the M6 near Lymm.
The driver broke the speed limit and told officers he was late for work.
He also has no insurance.
The car was seized and the man given six points and a £300 fine.
