A DRIVER has been arrested following a police chase in Flintshire.
Police officers pursued an Audi through the Queensferry and Oakenholt area in the early hours of the morning and ended when the vehicle crashed into a lamp post.
Members of the Cheshire and North Wales AAU and the Roads Policing Unit worked together to pursue the driver and detained three people.
A spokesman for the Cheshire and North Wales AAU said the driver 'lost control' of the vehicle.
A spokesman for the Roads Policing Unit said: "Following a pursuit through the #Queensferry and #Oakenholt area in the early hours, the driver of this Audi was arrested for driving offences. Great team work by HGC Uned Plismona'r Ffyrdd / NWP Roads Policing Unit and Armed Alliance Officers."
