FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire out in the open in Ellesmere Port.
One fire engine from Ellesmere Port attended the blaze in Sutton Way just before 10pm last night (Wednesday, April 8)
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called following reports of a grass fire in the open.
"The crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames."
