POLICE are monitoring a village beauty spot after receiving reports of youths meeting up to drink alcohol amid the coronavirus lockdown.
Officers said a number of incidents have been reported to them involving youths congregating at Stoak Nature Park, on the outskirts of Chester.
They also say people have been driving to the area to walk along the canal.
Cheshire Constabulary's Saughall and Mollington & Elton Police social media accounts posted today (April 9): "A number of incidents have been reported regarding youths congregating and drinking at Stoak Nature Park.
"Also, it has been noted that people are driving to the location to walk along the canal. Please stay at home, we will be giving the area attention. #StayAtHomeSavesLives."
