A MAN charged with two counts of burglary following incidents in Ellesmere Port and Frodsham has appeared in court.

Stephen Prior, 41, of no fixed address, appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court today (April 3) and was remanded in custody.

He will next appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday, May 1.

The charges relate to incidents at a domestic property in Queensway, Frodsham, on Monday March 30, and at a used car and van dealership on Station Road, Little Sutton, the next day.

Police say keys to a car and then the vehicle itself were stolen from the domestic property, along with a watch.

The car has since been recovered by officers.

Car keys were also stolen from the dealership.

Prior has also been charged with driving whilst disqualified and without insurance, and with interfering with a motor vehicle in connection with an incident in Fluin Lane, Frodsham, on Monday, March 30.
