POLICE are appealing for information after a woman reported seeing a man exposing himself in a car in Ellesmere Port.
Officers were called to the Whitby Road area close to the train station footbridge early yesterday afternoon (March 27).
They carried out a search of the area but the man had already left the scene.
Cheshire Constabulary is now appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
A statement said: "Shortly after 11am on Thursday, March 26, a woman walked onto Whitby Road after crossing the footbridge in Ellesmere Port.
"As she passed a blue Ford – possibly a Mondeo – she spotted a man in the car exposing himself.
"On her return early afternoon, she noticed the man was still there and reported the incident to police. Officers made a search of the area, but the man had left.
"Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or via www.cheshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about making sure you quote IML 668926. Alternatively information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
