AIRBUS says it has reached potential settlement agreements with financial investigators in the UK, US and France.
The agreements are made in the context of investigations by British and French authorities into allegations of bribery and corruption.
US authorities are also investigating Airbus’ compliance with American arms trafficking regulations.
The agreements remain subject to approval by French and U.K. courts and U.S. court and regulator.
The plane maker, which employs over 6,500 people at its Broughton site, said it has “reached agreement in principle” with the French Parquet National Financier, the U.K. Serious Fraud Office and the U.S. authorities.
Airbus says for legal reasons it cannot make any comments on the details of its discussions with the investigating authorities.
