THE CIRCUMSTANCES surrounding the death of a man whose body was found near Gronant are not deemed suspicious, police have confirmed.
Following the discovery of a man's body on the A548 on the evening of January 24, police believe that it is that of Terrance Joseph Moores - a 63-year-old from Stockport in Cheshire.
Police said a home office post-mortem has today (January 28) been conducted and as a result, the death has not been deemed suspicious, and remains unexplained pending conclusion of the Pathologists investigation.
Detective Inspector Elfyn Hughes said: “The family have been supported by specially trained Family Liaison Officers over the weekend and have been updated. “
“I would like to thank all the members of public who kindly contacted us in response to our appeal and to the surrounding businesses who were also very helpful.”
