A COUNCILLOR is appealing to pet owners after a town is blighted by dog mess.
Cllr Paul Shotton, of Connah's Quay Golftyn Ward, said he has received multiple complaints as dog poo bags are being left thrown on the streets.
He told the Leader: "I have received numerous complaints from residents and I notice it myself on a daily basis. The amount of dog bags that are being left around Connah's Quay.
"Ok, they have done half a job by picking it up and putting it in a bag, but to complete it, it needs to go in a bin.
"They are just being thrown on the street.
"I'm speaking as the residents' advocate but residents are fed up seeing this reoccurance. Just pick it up and bin it."
