A DJ from Ellesmere Port is hoping to 'bring nightlife alive' in his hometown with a major show at the Civic Hall.

Headlined by Newcastle DJ/producer Ben Hemsley, the event will take place on Friday, January 31.

It has been organised by Sam Benson, an Ellesmere Port resident who has been DJing since the age of 12.

Sam, who is now 23, has pulled together an impressive line-up of house music figures and - if the night at the Civic Hall is a success - he hopes it will be the first in a series of similar events there.

Headlinder Ben Hemsley is a figurehead of Lee Foss’s popular ‘Repopulate Mars’ label. He will be joined on the bill by Santez (the alias of DJ Sam Bradley of Size Records), plus an all-star cast of support acts including Wayne Statham, Liam Brennan, Neil Huth, Sam McLeod and Sam himself.

Sam's music career has already seen him move from DJing into tour management and is also an event and artist manager.

He has set up Pretium Management and has already staged events in Liverpool. Now he is bringing things closer to home.

Sam said: "I’m really hoping for this to be a series of events at the Civic Hall and my aim is to bring the nightlife alive again in Ellesmere Port.

"It promises to be a great night."

Tickets for the Pretium Management night at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall are priced at £15. They are available online at bit.ly/36Tjhub or from Straight Edge Barber shop.
