AN Ellesmere Port slimming group leader has been reflecting on her past 25 years of success as she prepares to help yet more shed the pounds.

Gaynor Budd runs Slimming World sessions every Wednesday at Hope Farm Community Centre in Bridge Meadow, Great Sutton.

Over the years, she has helped countless slimmers lose weight and, as part of her recognition, has had the chance to meet celebrities including Shane Ritchie, Bradley Walsh and Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald from Coronation Street).

Gaynor's group also won group of the year in 2000, alongside other accolades.

Turning to the present, Gaynor said: "A new year and decade; anybody wanting to lose weight after indulging a bit too much at Christmas can come along and get expert advice and learn that losing weight really isn’t a struggle.

"We know every slimmer's dream is not to go hungry.

"I run sessions every Wednesday at Hope Farm Community Centre and there’s a choice of 3 sessions, for anybody on the way to work early bird at 7am, or drop the kids at school and come along at 9am and 11am if you fancy mid morning.

"We offer support and guidance and there is no judgment as I know myself how it has helped me lose over four stone – I really do understand."

For more information, come along to one of the sessions or call 07746 792426.
