A MAN was assaulted and had his works van damaged after an incident on the A55 in Flintshire.
Police said the incident occurred at about 4.10pm on Wednesday, January 8 on the A55 westbound near the Pentre Halkyn Burger King off-slip/on-slip roads.
Following the assault, a white works van was also damaged and police said both vehicles exited the A55 for Holywell where the incident continued in a lay-by off the A5026.
The suspect was driving a dark coloured, four door saloon car - and police are now appealing for witnesses of the incident.
