FIREFIGHTERS were at a property in Neston for two hours to tackle rising floodwater in a cellar.
The crew from Mollington were called to the domestic property in Park Street just after 2am this morning (Tuesday, January 14).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said: "The crew used a pump to remove water from the basement while they waited for United Utilities contractors to arrive.
"Firefighters later handed the incident over to the contractors.
"They were in attendance for nearly two hours."
