A SLIMMING group leader has resolved to go for gold this year to bring her award tally to four.
Ebony Edwards, who runs the Hope Farm Methodist Church Slimming World group in Ellesmere Port, has already won the sapphire award, ruby award and silver award for helping to inspire members to shed the pounds.
And to help her achieve her dream, she has welcomed a remarkable 172 members at the group.
Mum Ebony, 28, said: "After promoting my group for the last two weeks, I welcomed in 172 members all ready to come and make their new year's resolutions come true.
Hope Farm Methodist Church really is the best place to lose weight this new year with inspiring member stories, amazing food sharing and learning and of course support from myself."
Coming along to show his support for the group was Ellesmere Port and Neston MP Justin Madders.
The group meets on Wednesdays at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm, plus Saturdays at 8am, 10am and noon.
